Romantic Lakefront Hideaway Close to downtown, Lakefront flat, Charlotte location, near National White Water Center, Belmont, Airport

This 1 bedroom flat is on the 1st floor and there is a 2 bedroom unit above this one that is also available (see calendar for 2 bedroom cottage)

The building was built right on the water's edge and has an amazing view of the main channel. This in town location is close to everything. That being said there is a lot to do without leaving the property.

You can rent a pontoon boat right from your dock. If don't want to captain a boat a tour service will pick you up from the dock and bring you back. If you are considering coming after April 2025 a new restaurant will be open and is just a short walk away.

Since this is a duplex guests should plan for a quiet stay. The the common areas have a hot tub, and outdoor shower, a boat dock and a large fire pit.

We have use guidelines that allow all guests to get a private use of these amenities.
A note to guests, we do have a small family of feral cats that live on the property. The cats are fixed and a feral cat organization comes by and makes sure they are healthy. We feed them and built them a home. They are mostly shy of people but you will see them around.

The property is located near everything but seems so quiet and secluded,, we’ve enjoyed our stays here very much. The owner is very responsive to our concerns and questions. We will definitely stay again. Nice home away from home.

We had a wonderful stay! The space was clean, well kept, and had everything we needed for a comfortable trip. The location was perfect, and the views were absolutely gorgeous. We especially loved relaxing in the hot tub after long days out. Our big highlight was for sure the four friendly outdoor cats that hung around the property. They were adorable and clearly well loved. We went out and bought them some treats our first night there! Communication from Robert was great, and we would definitely stay here again! We’ll have to come back in the summer when we can fully enjoy the lake.

This is a beautiful place,, beautiful view of the lake and so peaceful and quiet even though you’re near everything that you could possibly need.

As always, this stay provided a getaway from the business of life. It was quiet and tranquil. The nearby area provided anything needed. The communication was flawless. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

Loved my stay here and would definitely recommend this property on the lake. The owners communication was wonderful and the place had everything for a lovely long weekend. The place was very clean and comfortable. The views of the lake were a plus to wake up to.

This is such a perfect little space to enjoy some relaxing time. It’s close to the action of Charlotte but you get the beauty of nature and peace and calm. The host was wonderful and easy to work with and we enjoyed our stay very much. The space is clean and well kept! Highly recommended!

Very pretty location, feels like you're out in nature but it's only like 5 min drive from lots of stores and restaurants, and like 20 min to the airport. Super responsive host .

Outstanding stay! Everything was top notch and beyond expectations. The attention to detail with fixtures and amenities was a great value. Highly recommended!

My husband and I absolutely loved our vacation! Right on the water, spacious condo walk bottom unit, overall such a great place for couples and their pups! We would definitely stay again! Robert was awesome too, came to do some final touches before the top unit checked in and was so kind.

This was our second stay here, and both times the owner Bob always checks up on us and makes sure evrything is satisfactory and that we have everything we need. Its always been very clean! Also the kayaks and hot tub are awesome amenities! Recomend this place 10 out of 10! We will be back!

Great Lake House

Highly recommended for a small family looking to get away! Quiet dirt road and beautiful view of the lake. Great location… not too far from Charlotte to explore the city but far enough away to be relaxing and fun time on the lake. Host Bob was very friendly, responsive and accommodating.
