This was one of the most well thought out homes we have ever stayed at! It was clean, warm, and welcoming upon arriving with chocolates, snacks, and hotel like amenities waiting for us. The gas lanterns that lit the entrance from the street and front door were a beautiful touch. I will forever remember the double front doors! I want them for my home! The entire home was decorated with the owners paying attention to every detail and the copper lined tub was something to admire. Linens were luxury and the steam shower downstairs was impressive! The kitchen was well thought out although we didn't get to cook much. Unfortunately we didn't get to use the property to the fullest extent since we were in the area house hunting and spent every day/evening out. Our original arrival time had changed a couple times but Bob was very flexible and accommodating. He even called us to see if we had any issues checking in. Such a gracious host! Check in and check out instructions were clearly defined with not a lot of extra work involved, which was appreciated. Side note for transparency: this home may not work well for someone who may need assistance with stairs. There are several large steps leading down from the street level where the cars are parked, a spiral staircase to the downstairs, and steps to the dock. It wasn't a problem for us though.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The kitchen was gorgeous, and had everything we needed for the weekend. We loved the separate den area off the kitchen, which worked great for a space for the kids to play. Bob was very responsive and a great host. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautifully decorated, fantastic kitchen, unbelieveable views in and of itself make this a 10/10. The level of assitance and attention to detail by the host took it to the next level. The home was thoughfully decorated for the holidays, and Robert was there within minutes when we had a slight electrical issue. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home. We stayed Mon-Sat with our two adult children and their significant others. Plenty of space for us all to be comfortable. Beds were comfy and sheets were soft. Owner was very responsive. House was decorated for Christmas complete with Christmas tree. It was such a nice touch. The view was stunning. We are wanting to come back in the summer when we can utilize the water activities in the area.

We absolutely loved our 5-day stay at Last Cove Lodge. The place is beautiful! Has everything you need. Waking up to lake views was spectacular! Especially loved the steam shower and jet tub! Close to airport and many wonderful restaurants. Owner was accommodating and easily accessible. Will definitely stay again if in Charlotte!

The home was beautiful and more than we expected. There are exactly 20 steps to the road where your vehicle is located, but it wasn't an issue for us. Bob was very attentive to our needs. We would definitely stay here again if ever in the Charlotte area.

We loved the lake house! The view was amazing! The house was beautiful, comfortable, and very well stocked! Our dog loved running free, since the yard was fenced in. We had a few things we needed and Bob was right there for us. We will be back in the future!

This home is absolutely gorgeous, from the view to the decor. They have really outdone themselves. Bob the host was amazing very attentive, but gives you your space. Bob the host is a very nuce gentleman, he gives you a full run down of the property. We literally wanted for nothing. They have really thought of everything. We will definitely be booking this home again.
